Harry Potter books are AWESOME and have no equal in this genre outside of maybe The Lord of the Rings... but they are FICTION. FICTION YOU CRAZY PSYCHO! At least children are learning about love, and friendship and what it means to stare down the most evil of humanity. This is such a profound body of work that the witchcraft is , in my opinion, secondary to the values taught in these books. And I bet she never read a single page.

Clearly some people just can't tell the difference between fiction and real life. J.K Rowling didn't write Harry Potter to be a bible or religious book for anything. It's a fantasy story which contains all things i think are good to teach children. For example, bravery, standing up against bigotry, love, even working hard at school (hermione) I don't think i'd be half as nice to people if i hadn't read Harry Potter as a child. Those books got me through a lonely childhood, so thank Jo Rowling :)
